Cold water vs. Warm water ( Which is healthier)

After working out in the hot weather most people like to enjoy a cold beverage be it water, pop/soda, or alcohol. Do you do this? I did in the past but do not now for a few reasons I will explain.

The temperature of the beverage you are consuming has large impact on the body. If you consume water that is 40 degrees Fahrenheit it takes significantly more energy to process than a water at room temperature. And this is not just for water, it applies to all beverages. Before the body can consume any food or water the substance must be changed to increase efficiency of absorption. For food when you chew 25 times and coat your food with saliva you significantly increase digestion and absorption of nutrients. For a beverage, when the temperature is 40 degrees Fahrenheit, the body must first heat the liquid up to room temperature so that it may be processed and utilized.

Many health experts say to drink icy water to increase fat loss because your body has to warm the water up to room temperature. While I did this in the past I do not any longer. It is bad for your body and hard on the body as well. The ingesting of cold liquids causes the organs to have a decrease in internal temperature. When we have a decrease in temperature, what do we do? We insulate. This biological instinct is embedded deep within us.

After the internal temperature of the organs decrease, the body starts to line the inside of the organs with fat so that the organs may stay warm when coming into contact with cold liquids. So that fat loss tip to drink cold water, well it doesn’t work. Yes you may have fat loss around the waist but it is at the expense of having fat gain within your organs which can be much worse for your health.

Warm or room temperature water has a healing and calming effect on the body. it is great to get the organs working in the morning. Tea is a very popular drink of choice in the Asia and japan. Drinking warm or room temperature water allows your body to run at peak efficiency with no wasted energy or effort to increase the water temperature. Drinking more water has been shown to cause fat loss in many studies due to its cleansing effect.

The amazing water

Good Day to you my friend! I hope you are well!

Water is one of the most crucial nutrients to our survival and to the survival of our planet. It provides nourishment for our food as well as our body. We are made of 70% or more water depending on age and other factors. With this in mind naturally we would be affected similarly if not completely the same as water. In Masaru Emoto’s book the true power of water he states “we must pay respect to water, and feel love and gratitude, and receive vibrations with a positive attitude. Then, water changes, you change, and I change. Because both you and I are water”.
In His book Masaru shows us that when you say “thank you”, “I appreciate you”, “I have love and gratitude for you” and other statements the structure of water becomes pure and beautiful like a crystal. With saying these wonderful things to water we can appreciate it properly. Due to the fact that to appreciate means to add value, when we appreciate water naturally the quality increases. This is the same with humans and any other life form. Since life is a mirror the extent to which we appreciate others will play a role in how beautiful they appear to us in our reality. By appreciating water we can increase the quality to the extent that its healing properties are maximized and thus its healing effect on our body is also maximized.

Subsequently if we are unappreciative, hateful or ignore those around us (water or people) then the quality of our relationship with that person or water form is going to decrease. This is why it pays to be positive and keep your head up. Water seeks its own level, meaning the vibes you put out into the universe will be the exact same vibes you get back. This gives us more reason to heed a wonderful quote by Gandhi “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”

One thing to watch out for is the information which is being received from your five senses. This is to see, to hear, to touch, to taste and to smell. The two big ones are seeing and hearing. The movies and TV shows which we watch on a regular basis have a profound effect on what we think, how we think and how we treat others. The same goes for the music we listen to. The music has a large influence on what we think, how we think and how we treat others. This is especially prevalent in young children who don’t have enough experience to justify right from wrong.
